(UPDATE 5/17/2021)

The CDC recently released a statement saying it is fine for fully vaccinated people to return to per-pandemic activities without need of a mask or physical distancing. However, Governor Cooper’s Executive Order No. 215 is still in place for healthcare settings. Since massage and bodywork therapy is considered support healthcare by the CDC, the NC Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy is still requiring that this mandate remain active in our setting. So face coverings will still be required during your session vaccinated or not.
The main policies that directly affect clients are outlined below:
  • You will receive a short screening survey through our booking software portal asking COVID-19 specific questions 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. This survey will need to be completed before every appointment until further notice.
  • Please bring a face mask to use while you are in the building, and during you massage session.  Face coverings are required. If you are unwilling to wear a face covering during your session, please wait to schedule until these restrictions are lifted in a healthcare setting. Wearing a face-covering is mandatory at this time. There are options for face-down work if you are uncomfortable wearing a mask while prone but a mask must be worn at all other times. If you come to your appointment, neglect to bring and refuse to wear a face mask, your appointment will be cancelled and my cancellation policy will apply. Refusal of service is allowed by Rule .0510 of the PRACTICE ACT.
  • This one should be obvious. If you are not feeling well, please reschedule your appointment.
